The Greater Kudu is an african quick and gracious antelope with unique markings, robust muscles and large ears. It is an gourmet browser, needs to fear only lion and man, and is ranked high among Africa's top photo trophies.

When fleeing from an raptor the kudu either sneaks away or uses it's characteristic high jumping flight technique with white tail displayed. Obstacles over 8 ft (2.5 m) high are easily cleared.
